Life insurance! Is it real?

Go figure the logic. Virtually every one of us has a story of a friend or relative who has died far too prematurely. Sometimes it’s due to an accident. Sometimes a disease comes from nowhere and ends a life that should have gone on far longer. Yet, the majority of us don’t believe it can or will happen to us. I’ll bet those people that died prematurely didn’t think it would happen to them either.
Life insurance can’t bring back a friend or loved one. That pain is really never fixable. But life insurance can ease the financial burden that is left behind.
I have clients with stories that really drive home the fact that you just don’t ever know how or when your life will end. I would never tell their stories, but I hope a few will comment on this so that others might think a little harder and maybe do the right thing.

How true! I “met” Ed online in September of 2001 just a few days after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. My husband worked in Tower 1 and had just stepped off the elevator on the 39th floor when the first plane hit. As he was evacuating the building, he realized that he had to survive because he wasn’t leaving me and his son without any insurance money. Miraculously, he did survive and within days purchased a policy.
In January 2003 my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer and in February 2004 he lost his battle with the disease. He was only 52 years old. Nothing takes away the pain of losing a loved one. Nothing fills the void; but, life insurance surely eases the “financial” burden.

My husband was in a high risk profession, and had a difficult time finding affordable life insurance. He purchased a policy through Ed Hinerman in 2004. Five weeks after we paid the premium, my husband died. Not from a job related accident, but from a brain aneurysm while having lunch. He was only 48 years old and had absolutely no symptoms, and had passed a physical exam 3 months prior to his death. I would give anything to have him back in my life, but that will never be. I am so thankful to have the financial cushion the insurance policy provides. Ed was thoughtful, courteous and helpful throughout the most trying time in my life. I would recommend everyone have life insurance, and if they purchase their policy through Ed Hinerman, they will be taken care of with respect and understanding.
